The pricing for drinks was quite high!!! The internet connection was inconsistent, making it hard to stay connected!!! Issues with noise from neighboring rooms impacted my sleep, and cleanliness could definitely be improved!!!

    spacious room
    clean accommodations
    helpful staff
    noise disturbances
    limited breakfast options
    poor sound insulation

I found the room spacious and clean, which was a plus during my stay. I faced issues with noise from other guests that disrupted my sleep and disappointment with the limited options at breakfast. While the staff were helpful at checkout, the experience could benefit from improved management of guest concerns and better sound insulation. Great for short stays but could improve privacy for a restful night.

    Lodge charm by the river

The spacious room offered a breathtaking view of the running river. Mornings were pure bliss with a gourmet breakfast and live music at the Smokehouse next door.

The noise from enthusiastic guests returning late at night disrupted my sleep briefly. Prices for dinner were a bit high compared to the serving sizes.

    outdoor activities
    great breakfast
    heating issue

We had a wonderful time exploring the outdoor activities nearby, especially the Tree Top Walk and the Viewing Tower, which kept my five adult children entertained for hours. Plus, the breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a wide array of delicious options.

My wife says that the heating could be improved for cozier nights.

    poor lighting
    unpleasant smell

the lodge certainly has potential, but it fails miserably in execution. the lighting in my room was so dim it felt like a cave, and don't even get me started on the carpet smell in the corridor, absolutely lovely, I thought I might suffocate! i woudl have appreciated a complimentary upgrade after those delightful experiences, but alas, no.

    overpriced dinner

Had a blast with my friends! We loved the range of outdoor activities, especially the Tree Top Walk and the Viewing Tower. The breakfast was a hit with its great variety, and the staff were super friendly. Definitely check out the smoke House next door for drinks and live music!

The only downside was the price for dinner. a simple salad felt overpriced at 18 euros.

    value for money
    good roast dinner

It was just a fine choice for a weekend breather in Arklow with attractive and competitive value for money. The roast dinner I had was pretty good, especially the meat and potatoes. Pro tip, Be prepared for a bit of noise if you're staying around festive times.
